As we live in a barn, we realize occasional mouse sightings will happen. One of the most memorable comments on mice came from Sam. A mouse had sneaked up from behind the oven and was nibbling at something on the side of a pan. I brought Sam over to see it and told him I was going to get that mouse. He responded, "Mommy don't get that mouse, he's eating."
Today Dave revealed his most effective mouse deterrent, pepper spray. Wherever he has used it on a mouse hole, we have seen no evidence of their return. Leave it to a police officer.

I would freak the f*ck out if I saw a mouse eating out of one of my pans! You are so brave. And Sam's right...at least let Mr. Mouse finish his dinner before you squash him flat.
